MVCMA - Neighborhood Meetings

Long Range Planning

The MVCMA Board is engaged in a process of long-range planning for the MVCMA. The Board will develop a set of long-range strategic goals, consistent with its non-profit purpose as private foundation, for the next 5-10 years. During the summer of 2012, neighborhood meetings will be part of that process. MVCMA Directors will use information collected from leaseholders during these meetings to assist it in setting long-range goals and priorities. Residents of the MVCMA Campgrounds will be asked several key questions about the long-term future of the Campgrounds:

What is the primary appeal to being in the Campgrounds?
What do you like about the Campgrounds?
What can be done to enhance the Campground experience?
What concerns you most about the future of the campgrounds?

Each summer, members of the MVCMA Board of Directors conduct neighborhood meetings to air questions and concerns of leaseholders. Concerns expressed by leaseholders at these meetings are distributed among members of the Board and with the MVCMA Staff. Where practical, and consistent with the charitable religious purposes of the MVCMA, efforts are made to address concerns expressed at these meetings.

Meetings are usually conducted in the Tent, in Trinity Park, near the Tabernacle. They are scheduled, during July and August, based on the availability of the Board Members assigned to conduct the meetings for each of our several "neighborhoods."

2012 Summer Neighborhood Meetings:

Sat. July 7 at 3:30 pm in the Tent - for residents of Siloam Ave, Commonwealth Square, Allen Ave, Commonwealth Ave

Saturday, July 14 at 10:00 am on the lawn next to the Wesley for residents of Lake Ave., Central Ave, Hebron Ave, Rustic Ave and Rock Avenue.

Saturday, July 14 at 3:00 pm in Wesleyan Grove, for residents of Wesleyan Grove, Montgomery Sq., Merrill Ave, Lincoln Ave, Chapel Ave.

Sunday, July 15, at 4 pm in the Tent for residents of Trinity Park from Pawtucket to Jordan (#1-#18), residents of Pawtucket Ave, Dukes County Ave, & Jordan Crossing.

Saturday, July 21, at 10 am in the Tent, for residents of Rural Circle, Forest Circle, Butler Ave, Vincent Park, and Victorian Park.

Saturday, July 28 at 4pm at Oak Park (corner of Clinton and W. Clinton) for residents of Clinton Ave and West Clinton Ave.

Friday - August 3 at 4pm in the Tent, for residents of Trinity Park (#s 20 - 54), Tabernacle Ave, Pease Ave and Fourth Ave.

Friday, August 10 at 4pm in the Tent, for residents of Trinity Park (#s 55 - 81), Fisk Ave, Cottage Park and Bayliss Ave.
