As we close out 2018, I want to thank you for sharing in the MVCMA experience and being a part of this special community.

Support the MVCMA
This past year with the help of our supporters, we were able to welcome over 10,000 people to the Tabernacle, host over 125 free or low cost services, programs and events during July and August, finish our bench and chair renovation project, and upgrade our visual presentations with a new projector and screen. Of course the important part is not the numbers, but the experiences shared and memories created as we spend time with family and friends, both new and old… continuing a 184 year tradition.

Looking ahead, our commitment to bringing quality programs to Martha’s Vineyard is unwavering, but only possible through the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and program participants.

In addition to offering inspirational worship services, learning opportunities and family friendly programming, one of our identified needs involves a major renovation to the Tabernacle stage in order to reinforce the structural integrity and bring it to modern building standards. Restoration of this well-loved Island treasure was begun in 1999, and the stage rehabilitation is part of the “final phase” of the Tabernacle restoration plan.

I hope you will show your support for the Tabernacle and MVCMA’s programs, with a minimum investment of $100 toward this year end appeal. If you can do more, please consider a larger or monthly commitment. Your contribution will go toward the program or fund you choose, and donations in any amount will make a difference!

Examples of how your 100% tax deductible donation could benefit:
  • $150 – could underwrite a lecture or bible study
  • $300 – could underwrite the licensing for a family movie night
  • $500 – could underwrite a community sing
  • $800 – could underwrite half of the museum collection software that we hope to purchase (matched donation)
  • $1000 – could underwrite a worship service or purchase and plant a new tree

Please help ensure that the Tabernacle and its traditions continue, to serve future generations.

You can donate online,  by mail. Donations at the contributor level of $100 or more will be recognized in our 2019 program, or may remain anonymous.

Warm Regards,

CJ Rivard
MVCMA Executive Director
