Information for Cottage Owners

Leaseholders are responsible for ensuring that guests and tenants follow all of the rules of the Association.

Parking:

All vehicles staying overnight on the grounds must have a current MVCMA parking permit. All vehicles should display the current year’s parking sticker or a temporary hang-tag (visitors and guests); both are available in the office. During July and August, all vehicles must be off of the Trinity Park circle between 11 p.m. and 6.a.m. Cars parked there during these times, without a special permit, violate the MVCMA rules and may receive a Town of Oak Bluffs parking citation.

    Trash must be placed in a 13-gallon bag bearing the MVCMA logo. All trash in all areas of the Campground must be out curbside at the nearest point of pickup for the truck by 8 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays during July and August and on Mondays during the off-season.  ​

Cottage Transfer & New Leaseholder Information:

    ​All changes in ownership, including transfers into trusts or within families, must be recorded with the office and Town.

    • Submit check, CORI, and application and 3 references  to the office@mvcma.org 
    • $50 fee per applicant made payable to MVCMA
    • New Leaseholder Criminal Background Check Form (CORI) Complete for each applicant

Renting Your Cottage

  • Register Tenants Cottage owner must fill out form for each tenant/renter.

​Please refer to the Owner's Rental Checklist to make sure that you are in compliance with all MVCMA rental rules. All tenants and guests must be preregistered.

If you would like to advertise your cottage for rent on the MVCMA website, please contact Anne@mvcma.org to place a listing. The term of an ad is from October to September. Cost for the ad for the period or any fraction thereof is $75. This includes only one change/edit after the ad goes live on the site during a 12 month term.

Leaseholders are responsible for contacting the office to renew and pay for their ads. No invoices will be sent.  Existing ads will not auto renew  and will come down automatically in October if payment is not made for a new term.

MVCMA Scholarship Available

The Board's Scholarship and Memorial Gifts Committee is pleased to report that we will again be offering a MVCMA College Scholarship for college-bound high school seniors from among members of Campground families.

As you may know, for many years the MVCMA has been awarding $1000 annual post-secondary scholarships to graduates of the two Martha's Vineyard high schools. The Board has now expanded this program to add a third scholarship for Campground kids.
