2019 Season
Groundskeeping
These seasonal, full or part-time positions require diplomacy and a love for working with the public as well as with plants. Grounds keeping duties may include cutting grass, trimming plantings, weeding, watering, planting, or painting signage on roads. Employees also educate visitors in finding their way around the grounds, and MVCMA rules when necessary. They will also monitor and enforce parking and traffic rules and assist in the set-up and break down of events. Excellent customer service skills required, with a goal of providing a memorable visitor experience. A positive attitude and flexibility to shift direction or take on other duties as needed. Security & Visitor Engagement
These seasonal, part-time employees work late afternoon and evenings 3 or 4pm - 9pm. The position requires excellent customer service skills and a love for working with the public. Employees are primarily responsible for patrolling the entire grounds and ensuring a safe, secure environment and the protection of MVCMA property. They will also educate visitors in finding their way around the grounds, monitor and enforce parking and traffic rules, and assist in the set-up and break down of events. AV Assistant
This part-time position requires knowledge and experience with basic live sound, recording, theater or lighting applications and an aptitude for working with a variety of people. It requires a flexible schedule, excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic. Employee must be able to shift direction or take on other duties as needed.
