Renting Your Cottage

Leaseholders are responsible for ensuring that guests and tenants follow all of the rules of the Association.

Renting Your Cottage

  • Cottage Rental Rules for Leaseholders- Rev. 8/2022
  • Leaseholder Rental Checklist- Rev. 2/2022
  • Rules for Cottage Renters
  • Good Neighbor Tips RLC- June 2021
Please refer to the Rental Checklist to make sure that you are in compliance with all MVCMA rental rules. All tenants and guests must be preregistered at least 10 days in advance of their stay. Registration link will be open on March 1st, 2023.

Advertising your cottage on this site

If you would like to advertise your cottage for rent on the MVCMA website, please contact Anne@mvcma.org to place a listing. The term of an ad is from the first week of October to end of September. Cost for the ad for the period or any fraction thereof is $75. This includes only one change/edit after the ad goes live on the site during a 12 month term. (If you "book up" during the term, please notify Anne and she will update that info at no additional charge.)

Leaseholders are responsible for contacting the office to renew and pay for their ads. No invoices will be sent. Existing ads will not auto renew  and will come down automatically the first Monday of October if payment is not made for a new term.

Refer to this helpful "guideline" for planning to list your cottage. It has useful technical information, too.

Parking:

All vehicles staying overnight on the grounds must have a current MVCMA parking permit. All vehicles should display the current year’s parking sticker or a temporary hang-tag (visitors and guests); both are available in the office. During July and August, all vehicles must be off of Trinity Park circle between 11 p.m. and 6.a.m. Cars parked there during these times, without a special permit, violate the MVCMA rules and may receive a Town of Oak Bluffs parking citation.
