The 34 acres of the Martha's Vineyard Camp Meeting Association is an open, pedestrian friendly National Historic Landmark. Our Campmeeting Season is July and August annually. Most of our programming and our historic walking tours of the Tabernacle and MVCMA grounds take place during the season.
You are welcome to enjoy the Campground year-round. There is no admission cost to enter and explore and visitors are welcome to take pictures from the roads and walkways during the day. To view the inside of one of these historic cottages, we encourage visitors to visit our Cottage Museum, which is open 6 days a week, in season.
The historic iron Tabernacle is at the center and "heart" of our community. Please check our Calendar of Events which include Wednesday night Community Sings, Friday Night Concerts, and religious services and programs. Our signature event, Grand Illumination is worth an extra visit to the Vineyard.
Parking is limited, but the MVCMA is a short (2-5 minute) walk from the Oak Bluffs harbor area where the ferries and public buses arrive.
Individual cottages are privately owned. Please respect their privacy. Entering private yards and porches is not allowed.
If you are interested in staying within the Campgrounds, there is information here on summer rental opportunities.
