About the event

Join Peter Jones and Sarah Leaman of the Historical Preservation and Archives Committee in an informal discussion about a fledgling new organization, the Historical Camp Meeting Network (HCMN). HCMN is the brainchild of Dr. Douglas Strong, the Paul T. Walls Professor of Wesleyan Studies and Professor of the History of Christianity at Seattle Pacific University.  A scholar of campmeeting history, he and members of several campmeetings are creating an organization to try to forge connections across the various religious campmeetings across the country.  The Historical Campmeeting Network is in its initial planning phase.   If you would like to hear more about the work of its Coordinating Committee, which is forming to get this fledgling organization off the ground, come join this informal discussion.
